In front of the Karl Borromäo Church, visitors of the Zentralfriedhof find the tombs of the Austrian presidents.

The tombs of the former presidents of the Republic of Austria: Surely, there are more tasteful tombs in the world than this one, but it occupies the most central part of the Zentralfriedhof and thus, receives a lot of attention. The most recent addition in summer of 2007 (when I took the picture) was Kurt Waldheim, former president of Austria, general secretary of the United Nations and Nazi cavalry man.
